The site has been down since Monday! We had some really bad luck and lost the bulk of our old content.
But whats done is done and we are living in the here and now. The site is back up with a new look, and I’ve got some prime updates for you.
First and foremost, on Sunday April 26 The Dead ‘09 Tour rolled through Hartford, CT. Downtown was jam packed with fans and vendor booths were set up in every parking lot.
The show was epic, The Dead delivered 2 powerful sets of purely righteous jams. The music from the show is already available for purchase through the official Grateful Dead website.
Also on Sunday night, the Warehouse hosted the “Post-Dead Afterparty”. Headlining the event was the Grateful Dead tribute band In the Dark. This band was excellent. They put on an amazing show and had an seemingly endless arsenal of jams. The event kicked off around 11 to a slow start but by midnight, the venue was filling up, and crowds and vendors were bustling in the parking lot. I had a chance to speak with a few of the members of the band and they were a great bunch of people. In The Dark features an all star cast including members of Legion of Jerry and Shakedown. The band has a ton of great gigs lined up this summer including the Heroes of Woodstock in Maine.
